This is an open level practice designed to deepen gratitude, to practice humility.  We will honor indigenous peoples past and present in acknowledgement of the devastating reality of settler-colonialism on this land. Bring a pen and paper to write with.


Winter Solstice Chakra yoga Practice

December 16th, 2017 2:00 - 5:00 PM  Sliding Scale $30 - $75

Move through a somatic mapping experience from ground to crown in this Winter Solstice Salutation Flow. We'll practice Surya Namaskar sequentially through the chakra system to balance mind and body as the season turns. Followed by a Winter Solstice Yoga Nidra (psychic sleep). This deeply restorative and extended closing will incorporate chakra visualization & intention setting for 2018. This workshop is not recommended for beginners.

Calling queer and trans community! Join Emily Jeannette Kramer and Jacoby Ballard in picturesque Millerton, NY (2 hours outside of NYC) for this Yoga retreat.

Jacoby and Emily have taught together for over 5 years, both led Queer and Trans Yoga at Third Root in Brooklyn, co-owned the business together, attended trainings and conferences together. They know each other well and have varied and symbiotic teaching styles that lead to an intentional, open, caring environment for their students.

This retreat features asana practice in the morning and evening, dharma talks and discussion, reflection, free time to hike, swim, and explore, partner yoga, delicious locally-sourced meals and snacks, and mornings of noble silence. Come to this retreat to build queer community of the heart, creating space for deep work and joyous play. Suitable for all levels.

Please bring your own yoga mat and any props that will support your practice (there are a limited number at the facility).
